Your sewing notebook

Machine records, stitch setups, photos, patterns and PDFs, measurement records, fitting notes, fabric inventory, projects, checklists, progress entries, supply lists, costs and manually logged needle time stay in the app's private device storage. We do not operate a notebook server or upload this content to advertising services. No app account is required. The app does not request contacts, microphone, camera or precise-location access. You select individual files through Android's file picker.

Android cloud backup and automatic device transfer are disabled. Export a ZIP backup before moving phones or uninstalling. Exports include notebook records and referenced photos/PDFs. You choose the destination; a cloud storage provider you choose has its own policies. Imports replace the notebook after confirmation. Sharing a shopping list opens Android's share sheet; you choose whether and where to send it. Opening an attached PDF gives your chosen viewer temporary read access to that file.

Deleting a record removes it from the notebook and detaches its optional links. Removing a project also removes its journal entries. Unreferenced imported attachments may remain privately stored until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. They are not included in exports. Clearing storage or uninstalling deletes local notebook data and settings, but not exported backups or files held by another app. We hold no server copy of your sewing records or measurements.

Optional care reminders

Reminders and care intervals are stored and checked locally. With notification permission, Android can show a machine name and a care reminder on your lock screen under your system notification settings. Logged time is manual, not measured machine motor time. You can turn intervals off in Notebook > Care reminders, or manage notifications in Android settings. No reminder records are sent to the publisher.

Advertising and choices

The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Small banners may appear while browsing the notebook. Editors, photo previews, seam comparison and running sewing sessions are kept free of banners. We do not use interstitial, rewarded or app-open ads. Ad requests stop while the app is in the background or an active ad-removal entitlement is known. Notebook tools remain usable without connectivity and after optional advertising consent is declined.

Google's ads SDK can collect and share network/address information, approximate location inferred from IP, interaction events, performance diagnostics and device or applicable account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google encrypts SDK network data in transit. No separate analytics SDK is added, and notebook text, measurements, photos and PDFs are not supplied as ad targeting information.

Where required, Google's consent messages provide the available consent, refusal and management choices. Reopen Ad privacy choices under More > Ads & purchases when that entry point is required. Some limited ads may still be permitted after optional purposes are refused. Android settings let you reset or delete your advertising ID. Google and its disclosed ad partners apply their own retention and privacy rules.

Optional permanent ad removal

Google Play handles the one-time ad-removal purchase; it is not a subscription. The price comes from Play and is confirmed in its checkout. We do not receive card details. The app receives signed purchase information, product IDs, purchase states and tokens to check ownership, acknowledge payment and restore access. These are not sent to a publisher server or logged by this app. Only the entitlement flag is stored in private preferences; full receipts are not saved.

Purchases and restoration require the purchasing Google account and Play connectivity. A previously confirmed entitlement works offline. A successful later ownership query may update entitlement after a refund or revocation. Clearing app data removes the local flag; Restore purchase checks Play again. Backups do not transfer or grant purchases. Google retains its transaction records under its own policies. Removing ads stops banners; Play may still handle purchase or restoration requests.
